The TPPS adapts an activity based approach where teacher’s role is of a facilitator to introduce the subject and learning automatically follows which may be Pupil to Pupil. Teacher to Pupil or One group to another group. Special emphasis is laid on the development of communication skills, encouraging interactive approach to the learning of languages.
In Science and Mathematics, special emphasis is laid on the development of concepts so that learning can be permanent. The mentors will inform the relevant websites before introducing the concerned topic/lesson so that students could easily refer to the internet and come prepared with the topic. In this process the parents could also be involved to let the child pick up the relevant details.
Each class room for the mentor is a resource centre to make use of the available teaching aids, DVSs, LCDs, Computers etc.
Curriculum :- The School follows NCERT curriculum and affiliated with CBSE for the purpose of examination. Keeping in view of the rapid changes taking place in international educational scenario, a constant rapport is maintained with the Turning Point, Singapore to keep curriculum of global standard. Student Exchange programme with Turning Point, Singapore also provides opportunity for learning with modern techniques.
Continuous, Comprehensive Evaluation System :- To eliminate failure at every stage and to promote stress free education, CCE has been incorporated in all the classes. It is in line with the NCERT directions and CBSE scheme of evaluation.
Parents Teachers Interaction :- To understand the problem of children better, a Parents Teachers Forum functions in the School. It meets from time to time to sort out the problems of the students. It also extends opportunities to parents to have to one interaction with the concerned teachers so as to help the child develop harmoniously.
Counselling :- The School aims to provide sound and stress free education to the students. To meet this requirement the services of a counselors has been arranged who impacts on the spot counseling to help the students get rid of their tensions and also to enlighten them to pickup suitable careers for themselves.
